NFL Week 3 grades: Eagles and Bengals each earn an 'A-' for big wins on Monday night

The NFL's Week 3 ended with some exciting matchups, as the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals both earned big wins on Monday night. Both teams earned an 'A-' grade for their performances, and the rest of the league is starting to take notice. The Eagles, led by quarterback Carson Wentz, took down the Washington Football Team in a 27-17 victory. Wentz threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns, while running back Miles Sanders added two scores on the ground. The defense was also impressive, holding Washington to just 17 points and forcing three turnovers.

The Green Bay Packers earned a 'B' for their 37-30 win over the New Orleans Saints, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earned a 'B-' for their 28-10 win over the Denver Broncos.



The Week 3 action also saw some teams struggle. The New York Giants earned an 'F' for their 36-9 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, while the Atlanta Falcons earned a 'D-' for their 40-23 loss to the Chicago Bears. The Pittsburgh Steelers earned a 'D' for their 28-21 loss to the Houston Texans, and the Miami Dolphins earned a 'C-' for their 31-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
